Occupational Therapist

Introduction 

Adel is a dedicated pediatric occupational therapist who empowers children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential through evidence-based, play-centered care. With over five years of experience supporting children in Jordan and the UAE, he brings a compassionate and personalized approach to pediatric therapy. Adel earned his Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Jordan and is currently advancing his expertise through a Master’s in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health at the University of Warwick. He specializes in sensory integration and play-based therapy, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every child. 

Therapeutic Approach 

Adel believes every child has unique strengths and potential. He uses sensory integration therapy combined with play-based interventions to create fun, engaging, and effective sessions. His approach is child-centered and supportive, designed to help children manage challenges, and develop the skills they need for home, school, and daily life.

Adel creates a welcoming and personalized therapeutic environment where each child’s needs and personality are considered. He designs each session to be practical and meaningful, giving families clear strategies they can use at home to continue progress. His focus is not only on building skills but also on making therapy an enjoyable and rewarding experience for both children and their families. 

Personal Interests 

Outside of work, Adel enjoys music and values the way it can inspire creativity, relaxation, and connection. He often draws on this passion to bring creativity and balance into his therapeutic work with children.

MSc in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health (in progress) – University of Warwick, UK
