Sawsan Sharf

Occupational Therapist

Introduction

As a DOH-licensed Occupational Therapist, I bring nearly ten years of professional experience supporting children and families. My background includes diverse clinical and school-based roles across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai, which has enriched my ability to adapt therapy to varied settings and needs. I am dedicated to delivering evidence-based, individualized care that empowers children to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.

Therapeutic Approach

My practice integrates a combination of Ayres Sensory Integration, SOS Feeding Therapy, behavioral strategies, and developmental approaches. I specialize in supporting children with sensory processing challenges, fine and gross motor delays, handwriting difficulties, feeding concerns, and attention-related needs. Each intervention is tailored to the child’s unique profile, ensuring therapy is meaningful, effective, and goal-oriented.

Client Experience

Families can expect a supportive, structured, and collaborative environment. Sessions are designed with clear goals, engaging activities, and practical strategies that extend into daily routines. I work closely with parents and educators to ensure continuity of care, consistent progress, and meaningful outcomes that enhance the child’s participation in everyday life.

Personal Interests

I value fitness, creativity, and lifelong learning, which inspire me to bring energy, balance, and innovation into my therapeutic practice. These interests strengthen my holistic approach and fuel my commitment to helping children thrive.
