With over a decade of experience in Paediatric occupational therapy across UAE, the South of France, and Lebanon, Elias Kiwan brings a global and deeply human-centered approach to therapeutic care.
Currently serving as the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department at Intercare Health Center in Abu Dhabi, Elias leads a multidisciplinary team delivering clinic- and school-based services to children with a wide range of developmental and sensory needs.
Elias holds a Maitrise in Occupational Therapy and a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from the Lebanese University. In pursuit of clinical excellence, he completed two advanced certifications in Canada: the Occupational Therapy Practice Process program at the University of Alberta, and the OT Program at McMaster University. These programs deepened his expertise in evidence-based interventions, assessment tools, and early childhood development frameworks aligned with North American standards of care.
Elias’s practice is enriched by his commitment to innovation. He integrates educational technology, data analysis tools, and therapeutic design in his approach to care. He has presented regionally and internationally, founded Lebanon’s initiative for parent empowerment, and published award-winning research on inclusive education using Web 2.0 tools.
Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Elias is passionate about fostering inclusive environments where children thrive and families feel supported. His leadership continues to shape the evolving collaboration between Intercare and Abu Dhabi’s elite school communities, including Cranleigh.
